This rat tail comb is designed to create spiral twists, helping you style your hair into the look you want , while helping to minimize frizz and tame flyaways.

Directions

Style Steps:

Comb Twists on Natural Hair:

1. Start with freshly shampooed hair, making sure it is thoroughly detangled.

2. If hair feels dry, lightly mist with a moisturizer like our Leave in Conditioner and coat with a natural oil like our Fenugreek Growth Oil or our Peach Vanilla Finishing Oil.

3. Section hair at the nape of your neck using the Rat Tail comb for parting and our Crocodile Sectioning Clips to section.

4. Take small sections and coat with a small amount of gel (Curling Custard), combining through for even distribution.

5. Place the twisting comb in the hair at the scalp. Glide the comb through the hair while turning it clockwise in a circular motion while pulling down to form curl.

6. Repeat until entire head is complete and sit under a hooded dryer to set the style.

7. You can wear your twist as is, or if you want a look with body, add our Peach Vanilla Finishing oil onto your hands and pull the twist apart carefully for a voluminous look.

8. To protect your style, sleep wearing a satin or silk bonnet or sleep on a satin or silk pillowcase.
